Kicking Sunrise

Hello and welcome back to my blog !

I am coming back at you with a music blog post this time around. I always look new music to listen to. So through scrolling my twitter time line a few months back. I found myself taking an interest in what other people were listening too. 

A few days passed before I finally caved and headed over to spotify to check out Kicking Sunrise. That was the start of what has become an amazing friendship with the members of the band. 

So in this blog post I am going to give you the low down on Kicking Sunrise and their music. Also at the end will be links to all their social media outlets so you can keep up to date.

Who are Kicking Sunrise?

Kicking Sunrise are an American soul pop/rock band.  They are made up of four members. Members include Joe Murphy , Ryan Hornibrook, Matt Bosco and Mark Altamuro.

Kicking Sunrise are from Washington Township which is located in New Jersey (USA)

Being a Kicker is like having 4 brothers who you can go and talk to. Not only that but you make friends with other people of the fan base. I have made a few new friends from having a common interest  in the band and their music. Also a lot of the friendships I have are one I have kept through being in multiple fan bases.  I am lucky enough to say that I have had a skype with the Kicking Sunrise members where we had  chat and got to know each other.  Having that face to face chat , you soon discover that you have more in common that what you originally thought. 

In my opinion I see Kicking Sunrise doing great things musically, I am so looking forward to seeing what is next for the,. As I know they always go from strength to strength.  They are a band to be reckoned with. They have all the talent and the potential to be the next big thing. As I believe that their is a space in the music industry that Kicking Sunrise can fill very well. The songs they release are very very catchy. The latest release Take It All is my favourite. It has the right mix of all the elements you need to comprise an amazing song. Trust me Kicking Sunrise will be a household name in the very near future.

Get To Know Me !

Hello and Welcome Back!

Yes it has been a while since I have posted anything.  I think that is due to having a writers block for a couple of months. Where I really didn't feel like writing anything. Until someone recently told me that I have a talent for writing. So I've taken a break to re evaluate and come up with some ideas. 

So I decided this post should be a get to know me as the title of this states. So that you can get to know me a little bit better.

Going to a line dancing lessons with my mum. 

What is something you are talented at?

I am talented at customising bags and making Jewellery. I also have a passion for photography and video editing. 

What is something you wish you were talented at?

Playing guitar

Describe yourself in a single sentence?

I am a shy person but I am slowly becoming more confident. 

What is your biggest accomplishment?

Graduating from college and having my family proud of me. I graduated with a Higher National Certificate in Administration and Information Technology.

Live me , Twitter and Instagram 

What piece of technology can you not live without?

My laptop and I phone.

Would you rather go back 5 years in the past or 5 years into the future?

Ooooh this is a tough one to answer. But....... I would go back 5 years in the past. This is purely down to having done things I would have done differently. Also going back five years would mean I would have the most important person back in my life (yes my mum)! This is the main reason I would go back in time. So that we could create more memories and so that I could hug her and tell her everyday how much I am glad she is my mother. 

Most inspirational person in your life?

Another tough one to answer. But I have a lot of inspirational people in my life at this current moment in time. The majority of them who I have met through using various different social media outlets. So to answer this question I'd say everyone who I have communicated with through the various social media outlets I use have inspired me in various ways. From being able to open up to people when I've found it hard to let go of emotions etc. The main inspirational people in my life are Amber Tiana , Kalijah Wayne , Nelson Santos , Jalin Cortez, Alex Odon , Lee Brown, Maleia Dunn , Rockaboo, Jeanette Watts, Bobbi, Sonja-Leigh , Carman etc. These are just a few of the important and inspirational people that I have in my life . I thank my lucky stars for having these people come into my life when I didn't know I needed the extra morale support and guidance.

What is the best lesson you've learned so far?

The best lesson I have learned so far, is no matter how hard you are on your self.  You are in control of your own happiness, goals and dreams. Also that life is too short to not chase any dreams, ambitions and/or goals. If you have a passion for something then you should give it your all and keep progressing. 

What's the best piece of advice you've gotten and who was it from? 

I get so much advice from various people that I have communicated with through the social media platforms that I use. I'd say that the best piece of advice I've got is from Kalijah Wayne. He told me that i should always tell myself how amazing I am and how amazing life is. As I am very loved by the people I have in my life. 

Favourite genre of music?

I like all genres of music . This is inclusive of pop, country, rnb, soul, gospel etc. 

Favourite food?

I like so many different foods , so to just pick one is already hard enough. But......... I love me some Italian food. Garlic bread, Pasta and Pizza are my favourite types of Italian food. 

Favourite colour?

it's a tough choice but I'm going to say purple. 

Favourite movie?

I have watched so many movies over the years. But I'd say that Sister Act 2 Back In The Habit is my favourite movie.
